Initiation
Encourage the emergence of new research projects that foreshadow the structuring of partner networks with a view to responding to high-level national or international calls for proposals.
Interdisciplinary action
To encourage short-term scientific projects carried out in the field, in the laboratory or in archives, and to foster synergies and promote the skills and facilities of the institute’s teams.
Scientific culture
Disseminate research results to all audiences.

Supporting doctoral students committed to a strong interdisciplinary approach.
Mediterranean sites mobility
To facilitate the deployment of Aix-Marseille Université students to the sites of the institute’s international community and/or the attraction of students enrolled in a foreign institution to the sites of the institute’s community, in France and abroad.
Hosting project
Supporting field operations run by the institute’s community hosting Aix-Marseille Université students, in France and abroad.

Thanks to the "Amorce" scheme, the institute has supported the structuring of a program focused on the Tipasa site. Our work, focusing on the geosciences, is now financed by the Fonds de solidarité pour les projets innovants, in partnership with the French Embassy, the Algerian Centre national de recherche en archéologie and the Centre universitaire de Tipaza.
