In 2024, the Institute will fund 12-month "Starter" projects worth between €5,000 and €10,000, which will encourage the emergence of new research and the structuring of partner networks with a view to responding to high-level national or Internationally competitive calls for proposals.
Projects must be collaborative, involving the partnership of at least two laboratories belonging to the institute. Other French or foreign teams may also be involved. Only permanent staff from member laboratories may submit projects.

Testimonials
Thanks to the "Amorce" scheme, the institute has supported the structuring of a program focused on the Tipasa site. Our work, focusing on the geosciences, is now financed by the Fonds de solidarité pour les projets innovants, in partnership with the French Embassy, the Algerian Centre national de recherche en archéologie and the Centre universitaire de Tipaza.
