Grant for scientific culture projects

Offered annually by Aix-Marseille Université's scientific culture unit, the Aix-Marseille Université scientific culture project grant supports research dissemination initiatives undertaken by research organizations. To encourage initiatives, the institute offers co-financing for projects carried out by its community.

General framework of the call

Addressed to the entire Aix-Marseille Université community by the scientific culture unit, this call is open to all types of mediation formats: events, videos, experimental workshops, etc.

The projects selected must be aimed at the "general public" (families, adults, schoolchildren), with free access. For the production of Resources (video, book, etc.), distribution rights and conditions must be specified in the application file. For inclusion on the "science o thèque" platform, the resource must be free of charge.

All Aix-Marseille Université disciplines are invited to apply. Projects that are interactive with the public, interdisciplinary and involve partnerships between university players (departments, faculties, student associations, etc.) are encouraged. Participatory science and research projects are particularly appreciated by the jury.

Institute co-funding

Each year, the Institut d'archéologie méditerranéenne offers co-financing of €1,000 to €2,000 to projects carried out by laboratories belonging to its community, within its thematic perimeter. The Institute reserves the right to grant co-financing according to its own criteria and within the limits of available funds.

Calendar

The call for proposals is open annually, according to a schedule drawn up by the Scientific Culture Unit.

For the 2025 call, the deadline is Decembre 3, 2026.
